2012 edition of Birdies for the Brave, Tampa Bay was a great success.

17 teams competed.

#2 Score : 50.  Jay Don Blake, Mike Ryan, Bruce Simpson, Kevin Burke and  General Doug Brown

#3 Score : 52.  Andy Bean, Kevin Garcia, Jarrod Moreland, Mike Mull and Mike Nasuti

Birdies for the Brave…

… is the PGA TOUR’s primary vehicle for supporting the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. Since 2005, the TOUR has joined with PGA TOUR players and corporate partners to raise millions of dollars for military homefront groups that directly serve military men and women lost or seriously injured in performance of their duty, through fundraising event at TPC clubs.

Thank you for joining millions of your fellow Americans in wanting to find ways to show support for our military troops and their families. Giving back is at the heart of the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Charities and TPC Tampa Bay. PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. and Birdies for the Brave Tampa Bay, Inc. are non-profit charitable organizations recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code. Contributions to PGA TOUR Charities, Inc. and Birdies for the Brave Tampa Bay, Inc. are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
The 2012 primary charities supported by the PGA Charities Group are: United Through Reading; Homes for our Troops; Special Operations Warrior Foundation; Wounded Warrior Project; Operation Home Front; The Navy SEAL Foundation; Special Forces Foundation; and Military Warriors Support Foundation . In addition to the national effort, your Tampa Bay B4B Foundation will be providing a percentage of its proceeds to Foundations supporting local area veterans foundations.
